Goregous tobacco and sage aromas on the nose open this full-bodied red that tantalizes the senses. This wine is a blend of 87% merlot and 11% cabernet franc and 23% syrah. It was aged 23 months in French oak.

Merlot food pairings: venison, prime rib, or a savoury stew, grilled chicken, meatball sandwich.

The 2008 vintage blend is 87% Merlot, 11% Cabernet Franc, and 2% Syrah. The
varietals were fermented separately in stainless steel tanks prior to being moved
into oak barrels. They then spent 18 months in 100% French oak ranging in age
from new to two year old. After barrel aging the wine was blended together prior to
bottling. It spent 15 months in bottle before its release.

Ms. MacLean is the disarming Everywoman. She loves wine, loves drinking ... ultimately, it's a winning formula.

Unquenchable by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a fiesty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
