Tinhorn Creek Vineyards Merlot 2009 Wine Review
Natalie's Score: 88/100A juicy, full-bodied red with fleshy plum notes. Nice balance and finish. Very versatile with many dishes.
Merlot food pairings: prime rib, grilled lamb, spaghetti bolognese, BBQ chicken. At Miradoro Restaurant try it with the roasted chicken, Moroccan chickpeas with crisp Silver King tofu, or the pizza pancetta..

|This vintage of Merlot has grapes from our vineyards on the Black Sage Bench|
(Diamondback Vineyard) and the Golden Mile Bench (Tinhorn Creek Vineyard). This
2009 Merlot was cold soaked for three days before fermentation. After fermenting
the wine to a dry style, it was placed in new to three year old French and American
oak barrels for 12 months. Each lot was kept separate throughout the winemaking
