Simply incredible for the price! Juicy with mouth-watering, full-bodied flavours of fleshy dark plums and berries. A velvet smooth texture. Great for parties and smaller get-togethers.

|Mark Britton rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:|
Fantastic value in this malbec at $12.95. A great bodega on the Eastern side of Mendoza, the malbec capital of the world. Rich black fruit, soft balanced tannins, and beautiful deep Ruby (almost blue) colour. A great steak wine, but could also be enjoyed with burgers or BBQ meats.

Tilia, the Latin name for Linden, is a traditional tree throughout the wine country of Mendoza. Its flowers are used to make a popular herbal tea with calming properties.
The Tilia wines are made at Bodegas Esmeralda, winery in eastern Mendoza dedicated to the value segment of the Argentine domestic market.
The Tilia wines are made by Alejandro Viggiani, a winemaker and viticulturalist in charge of all Catena family vineyards in eastern Mendoza.
The Tilia wines are made with a blend of fruit sourced from the Eastern and Southern regions of Mendoza.
The 2010 Tilia Malbec has a dark, blackish purple color. The nose offers ripe black fruits, black pepper spice and floral notes. The mouthfeel is full yet soft and supple, with black raspberry and currant flavors mingled with notes of sweet spice and a touch of leather. The finish is long and persistent with soft, sweet tannins.
