The cool and slow fermentation of this wine makes this wine very elegant with a fresh and full-on blackberry and black cherry nose. The Shiraz is deep ruby red (almost purple) in colour with blackberry, cherry, fine dried herbs, sweet cedar and long mocha finish on the palate. Both French and American oak were employed in the aging of this wine, adding layers of sweet spice, sweet tobacco and a touch of vanilla to its complexity. A mid-weight wine with well- integrated tannins this Shiraz is lovely with a prime roast or wild mushroom stroganoff. Enjoy!

This classic down under Shiraz offers an inky purple hue and an aromatic nose of spicy blackberry fruit. Mouth filling black and blue fruits follow on the palate with a pleasant touch of baking spice from time in oak. A perfect winter warm up, next to a bowl of beef stew. Enjoy through 2015. Tasted Feb 2014.
