Big juicy purple and black plums burst from the glass. Some vanilla oak and a smooth, full-bodied texture. Nice price!

Arômes et saveurs de ronces rouges et foncées qui s’unissent aux touches sophistiquées de chocolat et d’épices. Un vin d’une durée et d’un équilibre impressionnants. L’élégance personnifiée.

Fruit for this wine was sourced from selected vineyards across South Eastern Australia. The 2009 vintage was characterised by some unusual weather conditions. Below average winter rainfall was followed by a relatively warm and dry spring, which ended with a cool and damp November and December, increasing sub-soil moisture. Warm summer conditions brought on an early vintage which was not dissimilar to 2008.Select parcels of this wine were matured for six months with French and American oak. Nose: The nose shows dark berry fruit aromas with hints of mocha and spice.
Palate: Blackberry and plum flavours flood across the palate with notes of spice and cocoa. This is a medium bodied wine with a soft, elegant finish.
