Wine-coffee drink: I mean this kindly. It's lovely, especially if you love your espresso. So perfect with biscotti. Wait for at least 4 pm.This is my second tasting of the 2012 vintage, and it's consistent with the first one back in January.

Pinotage food pairings: grilled meats, smoked pork.

Reviews and Ratings

Martha Kelly AIWS - CS rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

Deep purple in colour, with complex flavours of black cherry, strawberry, raspberry, licorice, wood smoke, vanilla, savoury leather and bacon. With medium body and tannic structure, the intense flavours linger on the refreshing, fruit-driven finish.
Drink now, or keep until 2015.
Pair with gourmet burgers and pungent cheeses.
Date tasted: April 2014.
This wine won a Gold Medal at South Africa's 2013 Michelangelo International Wine Awards -- loaded with coffee-espresso goodness. - Community Wine Reviews

Red, White & Drunk all over by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean writes about wine with a sensuous obsession... and often laugh-out-loud funny... Terrific.

Rex Pickett, Sideways

Ms. MacLean is the disarming Everywoman. She loves wine, loves drinking ... ultimately, it's a winning formula.

Unquenchable by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a fiesty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
