This robust Italian red wine is a blend of Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Petit Verdot grapes. Full-bodied Italian red wine with gloriously rich aromas and flavours of black cherry, mocha and smoke. Complex and layered with a long finish. Pair this with T-bone steak. Pair with game meats.

Merlot Cabernet Sauvignon Petit Verdot food pairings: hearty beef stew with fall vegetables, three sausage and bean cassoulet, Mediterranean spiced lamb.

Reviews and Ratings

Jane Staples - Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 94/100 with the following review:

One of my favourite recent discoveries at Vintages, this dry, satiny red is a blend of Cab Sauv, Merlot & Petit Verdot. Full-bodied, smooth and elegant. Dark garnet red offering fragrant cherry, leather and spice aromatics and a rich palate with tart cherry, slight spice and mouth-watering acidity. Beautiful texture and polished tannins. A wonderful gift wine.
