Vintages Wine Panel: A Chianti Classico that gains intensity as it progresses. On the nose, the fruit seems to peel back layer by layer. At first, there’s a hint of spring flowers, then raspberry tones come in, followed by a fine cedar and earthy quality. On the palate, all these elements come back for an encore. It is dry, full-bodied, fresh and very lively. It will reward 2-4 years in a cellar, but is also a good match for an array of meat-based dishes. My note: Smoky, tangy goodness with aromas of black cherries, plums and mocha.

Red, White & Drunk all over by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean writes about wine with a sensuous obsession... and often laugh-out-loud funny... Terrific.

Ms. MacLean is the disarming Everywoman. She loves wine, loves drinking ... ultimately, it's a winning formula.

Unquenchable by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a fiesty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
