Incredibly juicy and mouth-watering with seductive aromas and white peach and pear. Dry with a great finish. So balanced. Medium-bodied, no oak.

Riesling food pairings: grilled lake fish, sushi, chicken burgers with chimichurri sauce.

Reviews and Ratings

Darlene Myers - CAPS Student rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

This is one of the reasons I have come to love Riesling. Citrus and flavors of oranges with a hint of flint combine for a flavorful Riesling. Good acidity and juicy flavors that come alive in your mouth make it the perfect pairing for Asian cuisine, Indian cuisine, chicken and fish just to name a few.
Tawse has won Winery of the Year honours an unprecedented three times in a row at the Canadian Wine Awards. This is textbook Niagara Riesling in the Mosel style, if you allow that textbooks can be utterly delicious. A kiss of sweetness counterpoints waves of fresh squeezed lime and stony minerality. Natalie MacLean writes about wine with a sensuous obsession... and often laugh-out-loud funny... Terrific.

Ms. MacLean is the disarming Everywoman. She loves wine, loves drinking ... ultimately, it's a winning formula.

Unquenchable by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a fiesty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
