The ethereal essence of gewurztraminer with exotic aromas of violets and rose petals and ripe Asian pear and lychee fruit. Rich, luscious texture that's perfectly balanced. Great mouth-watering juiciness for a variety of dishes. The vines for this wine were grown in limstone soil, then the grapes were hand-harvested. It's also both organic and biodynamically farmed. The effort and care shows in the superb craftsmanship.

Gewurztraminer food pairings: Asian dishes, light to medium curries, Chinese, Thai, and Indian food will work with the great combination of flavours, spiciness, and complimenting sweet notes in the wine. Also great with vegetarian fare, white fish, chicken, and pork dishes.

Our 2010 Quarry Road Gewurztraminer has an expressive nose of ginger, lychee and lilac. The palate is bursting with with intense spicy, fruity and floral notes, rounded out by evident minerality. The finish is classic Gewürztraminer, long and wonderfully spicy!
