Medium-bodied, silky with mocha and spice. Tart, sour cherry aromas and flavours on this medium-bodied, mouth-watering acidic Pinot Noir from Niagara. Very respected winemaker. Pair with salmon or tuna. Lovely craftsmanship.

Reviews and Ratings

Dan Trcka Wine Blogger rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

The 2010 Tawse Grower’s Blend Pinot Noir has intense, lifted aromas of prune, pomegranate and vanilla. It is a medium bodied, extra-dry, fruity wine, with good acidity, refined tannins and a medium to long finish. It is food friendly, but enjoy it on its own; drink now – 2018+. My impression: BEAUTIFUL, 91 pts – recommended buy for its quality and value. Tasted at 'Taste Ontario 2013' http://grapeselections.com/taste-ontario-2013/ in October/13.

Heather Wall - CS; WSET Advanced rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

Brilliant colour and richness from this award winning winery. Medium+ body and a good expression cool climate Pinot. Hint of caramel surprised my palate first. Ripe cherry, prunes, sweet spice and chocolate follow-up. Smooth and sure to please any wine lover.
Mark rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

This juicy pinot has got some body to it! Cherries and raspberries mingle with dark chocolate and herbs, all tied together with a mouth-watering acidity. Finishes long and dry subtly spicy.
Tawse's Growers Blend Pinot Noir is made from grapes grown in Niagara. The wine is barrel fermented and barrel aged for 1 year, as are all Pinot Noir wines from Tawse. - Community Wine Reviews
