Peppery back cherry on the nose with great vibrancy and juiciness on the palate. Medium-bodied and lively. Drink with grilled chicken.
Gamay Noir food pairings: lamb burgers, cedar-planked salmon.

|Drink Wine and Giggle Gals rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:|
In 1395 the Duke of Burgundy referred to gamay noir as a wine of "very great and horrible harshness". Evidently the good Duke had not experienced Tawse Gamay Noir, a light and lovely red that the Drink Wine and Giggle Gals like to pair with frisbees, cheese and charcuterie at our annual girlfriend picnic by the lake.
|Winner of top winery honours at the Wine Access Canadian Wine Awards for three years running, Tawse offers their first-ever Gamay with this 2011 vintage. Concentrated aromas of cherry, red plum and brambly raspberry are all equally well represented on the palate. A clean, bright acidity provides tangy lift. This lithe and lively Gamay is loaded with character and has the pluck to cellar 2-3 years. Taste it tonight. Medium-bodied & Fruity. Source: Vintages Wine Panel, Jan. 2013|
