Reviews and Ratings

Julia Kelada rated this wine as 95/100 with the following review:

I'm speechless! Stunning! Wow!
What an incredible wine with such class, such personality...I shall return to buy more!

It is an intense blood red in colour. On the nose there was a curious note of damp cigar leaves then figs and orange, ending with an animal note.

On the palate, dried fruits, strawberries, figs, tangerines and Logan berries. There was a slight hint of Porto in this wine but not so rich, either way it was delicious. As the fruits wrapped up there was a tartness to the wine, almost a grapefruit note which slipped effortlessly into a mild spice enveloped in mixed fruit peel. The tannins were long and delightful. A don't miss wine!

Bottoms up!

Natalie MacLean writes about wine with a sensuous obsession... and often laugh-out-loud funny... Terrific.

Ms. MacLean is the disarming Everywoman. She loves wine, loves drinking ... ultimately, it's a winning formula.

Unquenchable by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a fiesty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
