A deliciously robust style of rosé with peppered rose petals, tart cranberry and a finish of black raspberry. This blend of Pinot Meunier Pinot Noir grapes is refreshing and mouth-watering. Make summer last a little longer with this wine.

Reviews and Ratings

Bright pink in colour, our Rosé leaps straight out of the glass with bold aromas of
watermelon, wild raspberry and strawberry shortcake. A little spun sugar and choke
cherry also enter the mix. The palate is lip-smacking and dry with lush flavours of
berry compote, passion fruit and strawberry. Citrus notes dominate its lengthy finish.
A wine for whenever, it will pair beautifully with food or with friends on a
sun-drenched patio… we'll leave that up to you.
The 2010 growing season was a challenging one for our viticulturist. An early bud
break meant we were off to a good start. A month long patch of cold weather slowed
growth, followed by rain during the flowering phase which resulted in naturally low
yields. Sunshine and warm temperatures in July allowed the vines to catch up slightly
but a cooler August and September slowed ripening down again. This gradual
ripening did however produce beautiful intensity in the fruit. Harvest took place two
weeks later than our average picking date but good weather ensured optimal picking
conditions and excellent grape quality.
This Rosé was made with 66% skin contacted Pinot Meunier and 33% saignéed Pinot
Noir. Like all of our wines, it was sustainably grown and vinified at our single vineyard
estate in South East Kelowna.
