Reviews and Ratings

Vidal is a white hybrid grape with Ugni blanc vitis vinifera and hybrid grape Rayon d'Or (Seibel) parentage. The grape is known to grow just 500 miles south of the Arctic Circle in Sweden where it is also harvested and made into ice wine there. Vidal weathers well here in Canada, not only withstanding cold temperatures, but thriving in them as in this beautifully-crafted and balanced Strewn ice wine (2013) from Ontario's, Niagara-on-the-Lake wine grape growing area. Strewn has zingy acidity to match ripe apricot compote, honey nose and a lengthy apricot compote, honey and mineral finish on the palate. . Enjoy it with fruit flans or savoury blue cheeses. - Community Wine Reviews

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
