A sculpted, medium-bodied New Zealand Pinot Noir with clear, defined lines and layers. Aromas of tart cherry, fresh earth and springtime morning mist. Mouth-watering acidity makes this such a food-friendly wine ... I'm thinking of planked salmon. You?

Pinot Noir food pairings: roast turkey, planked salmon, pork tenderloin, mushroom and truffle dishes, coq au vin.

Reviews and Ratings

Darlene Myers - CAPS Student rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

I have been on a bit of a Pinot Noir kick lately. For starters, it's so food friendly, I always like to have a couple of bottles in my wine rack. Recently in Newfoundland I enjoyed the Latitude Pinot Noir from Stoneleigh. This is made from grapes from a strip of land called the Golden Mile, and it is known for producing high quality Pinot Noir. This was soft and smooth with great fruit and mocha notes. A great wine from the Marlborough region of New Zealand.
The Golden Mile in Marlborough traces the Rapaura Road is studded with stones. This wine underwent a natural fermentation and was matured in oak with just 30% of it being new barrels. - Community Wine Reviews
