A real palate-grabber! Fleshy black plum, minty aromas in this red wine wonder! Walk down this tunnel of sensory pleasure ... brush your taste buds against the walls of caressing black fruit flavour. Smooth, deep, rich. Madly, truly, deeply.

Reviews and Ratings

Brad rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

A nice blend that showed medium to dark garnet red with minty cherries and anise on the nose. There was nice spicy fruit that tingled the tongue with light tannin tightness that was smooth and sweet. This was a nice easy drinking wine, slightly lighter in taste. Would go beautifully with mild cheeses
Douglas McMillan rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

Blackberry, plums, and very ripe strawberries with secondary aromas of cigar box, a little white pepper and vanilla. The taste is silky with a touch of round tannins and a bright acidity. Very nice with pasta with a tomato sauce.
A Margaret River Shiraz Cabernet is worth trying, not just for the cool climate nuances but also for the rich layers of black fruit and dark spice. - Community Wine Reviews

Red, White & Drunk all over by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean writes about wine with a sensuous obsession... and often laugh-out-loud funny... Terrific.

Ms. MacLean is the disarming Everywoman. She loves wine, loves drinking ... ultimately, it's a winning formula.

Unquenchable by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a fiesty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
