More Wine Reviews and Ratings

rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

Cedar, with a wack of flowers, red and purple fruit on the nose, persisting through the palate with some unripe black and bramble fruit. This is a medium bodied wine, or at least has become it. Methoxypyrizines are present right down to the core, not a bad thing, but does detract from the rest of the wine. Halliday gave this a 96, which is a huge score for this wine…might require a few years to dissipate the methox…I would put it more 90-91. (ottawawinejournal.com)
Fragrant and pure black and redcurrant aromas lead into a precise, beautifully structured medium- to full-bodied palate, with emery board tannins drawing out the finish, as does cedary oak; very good line, length and balance. Drink [until] 2027. Score: 96 Source: James Halliday, winecompanion.com.au

Red, White & Drunk all over by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean writes about wine with a sensuous obsession... and often laugh-out-loud funny... Terrific.

Ms. MacLean is the disarming Everywoman. She loves wine, loves drinking ... ultimately, it's a winning formula.

Unquenchable: A Tipsy Search

  Best Books of the Year

Unquenchable by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a fiesty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
