St. Hallett Poacher's Blend Sémillon Sauvignon Blanc 2009
Note: I publish batches of reviews that I call Good Values Wine Picks. These are from the regular section of the liquor store rather than the Vintages section, and tend to be lower priced and the most widely available of all wines. The last four reviews I did were: March 5, February 26, September 11 and July 26.

|The Semillon and Sauvignon in this wine are vinified and matured separately, then blended and further aged for four months in stainless steel. By not using oak, they are aiming at retaining the bright, fresh fruitiness of both varieties; and they achieve their aims. Aromas of gooseberry, peach and nectarine all vie for attention with notes of pineapple and lime chiming in as well. Try this fresh and fruity wine. Source: Vintages Wine Panel|
