Smoky, toasty oak wraps around black, brooding fruit. Full-bodied and smooth. Honkin' big! There's a hedonistic rush of fleshy dark fruit on the palate. Love this wine year after year. Some mocha and spice on the finish. Yum! Shiraz food pairings: Irish stew, black bean soup, tandoori flavored dishes, pizza. Best Beef Wine

Velvety, mouthfilling style with sweet, ripe black fruits and spicy oak offset by cool coconut, pepper and savoury, flinty notes. Lovely stuff. Score: 5 (out of 5). Source: Decanter World Wine Awards, 2012
