Natalie's Score: 91/100Rich cherry liqueur on the nose with blackberry jam and more layers of ripe berry flavour. Full-bodied and satin smooth. Superbly satisfying.

Sequana Vineyards is a joint venture between Pinot genius James MacPhail (MacPhail Family Wines) and the Hess Collection. Hess let’s James do his Pinot thing and the result is a delicious full bodied Pinot Noir with complex flavors of black cherry, smokiness, spice and plum with even a hint of bacon. Get your lips around anything James MacPhail puts in a bottle.
|Darlene Myers CAPS Sommelier rated this wine as 92/100 with the following review:|
I loved this Pinot Noir with its gorgeous flavors of black cherries, mint and a herbal earthiness. Plums and spice on the palate with cola notes and oak. Well structured, well done Pinot Noir.
|Winemaker James MacPhail brings his touch to this ripe, delicious Pinot Noir. It explodes in raspberries and cherries, but it’s no more fruit bomb. Shows fine acidity and even a dusting of tannins that provide structural integrity. Really nice now, and should develop over the next 4-6 years. Score: 91 Source: Steve Heimoff, Wine Enthusiast|
