Natalie's Score: 92/100

Bold aromas of black fruit and tar on the nose, with full-bodied layers of blackberries and dark spices on the palate. Nicely crafted, but not for the timid. This Cabernet also has a dash of Malbec, Merlot, Petite Sirah and Petit Verdot in the blend for extra dimension and nuance. Juicy and mouth-watering. Great balance and nice finish. Great dinner party wine.

Cabernet Sauvignon food pairings: beef stew with winter vegetables, pork tenderloin, brisket.

Reviews and Ratings

This full-bodied, blackberry, olive and savoury spice Cabernet Sauvignon from Sonoma County in California is 80% Cabernet Sauvignon with 20% in Malbec, Merlot, Petit Sirah and Petit Verdot. Sebastiani (2014) is juicy, elegant with rich, black fruit, cracked black pepper on the palate. This wine is showing great length. Sebastiani Vineyards date back to 1895. - Community Wine Reviews
