Vintages Wine Panel: A superb value from this family estate, this full-bodied blend of 55% Grenache, 25% Mataro (a.k.a. Mourvèdre) and 20% Shiraz is sourced from old vines with an average age of 70 years! Supple and approachable in style, it’s packed with black cherry, licorice, blueberry, earthy notes and spicy black pepper. Soft and voluptuous, this wine is carefully crafted to offer immediate enjoyment. My note: A big hulking red with a black heart. Gorgeous depths of flavor. Mint and dark chocolate. A warm embrace of fruit.

Grenache Mataro Shiraz food pairings: thick-cut juicy steaks, grilled leg of lamb.

Red, White & Drunk all over by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean writes about wine with a sensuous obsession... and often laugh-out-loud funny... Terrific.

Ms. MacLean is the disarming Everywoman. She loves wine, loves drinking ... ultimately, it's a winning formula.

Unquenchable by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a fiesty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
