Juicy, hefty and loaded with blackberry liqueur flavour. Smooth, supple and robust. Perfect for barbecued meats. ThisItalian red wine uses the traditional Appasimento method of drying the grapes for three weeks on straw mats before fermentation in order to concentrate the flavour and weight of the final wine. The Negroamano grape produces wines of deep colour and richness. Great price.

Negroamaro food pairings: hamburgers, beef stew.

From Puglia's Castelnuovo del Garda, this wine is spicy tobacco, leather and dark berries. Great with game stew. - Community Wine Reviews

Ms. MacLean is the disarming Everywoman. She loves wine, loves drinking ... ultimately, it's a winning formula.

Unquenchable by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a fiesty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
