Fresh baked bread wafts out of the glass followed by vibrant green apple notes. This is a hedonist's chardonnay. Full-bodied and rich with lots of length. Highly recommended. Pair with roast chicken and a comfy sweater.

Chardonnay food pairings: crab cakes, butter-brushed lobster tail, pork chops.

Reviews and Ratings

California's Santa Rita Hills is fast becoming known for making very expressive of terroir Chardonnay. The Sanford 2012 is one of these Chardonnays. Full-bodied and rich with white melon, peach, pineapple and just enough mineral and toast. Pear with crispy calamari and lime-laced aioli. - Community Wine Reviews

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
