Natalie's Score: 88/100

Very tannic wine that needs cellar time to smooth out then 2 hours decanting. A dry, robust red wine with black fruit and smoke with great weight on the palate. Nicely balanced. Try this red wine with braai, the traditional South African barbecue.

Food pairings: rare rib steak, curry dishes, crown roast of pork.

A dry, robust red wine with black fruit and smoke with great weight on the palate. Nicely balanced. Try this red wine with braai, the traditional South African barbecue. The red wine blend is mostly Cabernet and Shiraz, and a small amount of Petit Verdot, Cabernet Franc, Malbec grapes, that was matured for 16 months in French and American oak. - Community Wine Reviews

Unquenchable by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a fiesty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
