This medium-bodied red wine offers a seductive nose of cherries and earth. Tart berries on the palate, with mouth-watering juiciness that demands food such as roast chicken or turkey. The quality designation of this wine is AC. Very dry, smooth and crisp with a great finish.

Pinot Noir food pairings: grilled tuna, herbed steaks, roast duck.

Terrific Turkey Wine

Here's a classic Burgundy Pinot at a double-take-inducing price. Opens with pretty notions of strawberry, cherry and red roses with earthy, mushroom-y complexity. Delicate and lithe with good freshness, and a pleasing tartness to the finish. Pair with meats and mushroom dishes. Source: Vintages Wine Ratings and Reviews, Nov. 2013.
