Tart cherry-berry aromas and flavours, with lots of mouth-watering acidity. This Niagara Pinto Noir features dark cherry and cedar brush notes. Tart and tannic. Medium-bodied. Give it some cellar time. The grapes for this wine are grown in three Niagara Escarpment vineyards.

Pinot Noir food pairings: turkey dinner, lamb shanks, autumn stews.

Reviews and Ratings

Heather Wall - CS; WSET Advanced rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

This pretty Niagara wine was crafted with late summer, hand picked grapes adding a little extra ripeness in aromas and flavours. Light-bodied with tart cherry, floral, garrigue and fresh Niagara acidity and minerality. Tannins are polishing but suggest decanting an hour before enjoying in the glass. Perfect pairing for game, lamb or roasted duck.
Tasted: February 2016
Jennifer Havers - WSET Level 3 rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

Very lovely and bright aromas, including cherry, some cranberry, some herbaceous notes and a hint of cedar. Nice acidity and balanced flavours. Light bodied and refreshing. Serve with a slight chill and enjoy with grilled veggies off the BBQ. Would also be a great turkey wine. (March 2016)
Jane Staples - Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

Fresh aromas of red plums, repeated on the palate with slight spice. Aged in 100% French oak. Rather light for a Pinot, a bit watery.
Tasted March 2016
