Wonderfully vibrant acidity for food, lots of complexity and tart cherry aromas and flavours. The limestone soils really express themselves in this wine.

Pinot Noir food pairings: braised duck breast, roast goose, rabbit pate and terrine, sheep's milk cheeses.

The 2009 Rosehall Vineyard Pinot Noir is a powerful expression of the limestone rich soils of the oldest vines of our Estate Vineyard. Hand selected and fermented in small lot open top fermenters, this wine was crafted barrel by barrel. Aged in French barriques, about half new, for 16 months, the artisanal method and elevage include minimal handling of the wine from harvest to bottling. There was no fining or filtration.

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
