Reviews and Ratings

Monique Sosa - Accredited Sommelier rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

Intriguing red berry, pomegranate, mint and floral aromas. The palate shows ttention worthy chewy young tannins, rich concentrated cherry and pomegranate notes. This wine is dry, full-bodied and worthy of cellaring for another 10 years. If enjoying now do decant two hours prior to serving. Pair with a juicy seared rib-eye. Tasted Oct 2016. @sommsosa | bespoketastings.ca
Fleshy, ripe cherry and mocha chocolate is full on this full-bodied Italian red wine - a blend of 80% Nebbiolo and 20% Barbera grapes, the wine was first made in the heart of Piedmont in 1976, a good vintage year for this wine. - Community Wine Reviews

Unquenchable by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a fiesty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
