Full-bodied red wine with black cherry liqueur aromas and flavours, black fruit and smoke aromas. Dark spices on the finish. Very good price for the quality. Make this your house wine, and you may never leave the house.

Negroamaro food pairings: pepper steak, prime rib, osso buco, pasta, sopressata pizza.

Reviews and Ratings

The 2013 Gambero Rosso guide awarded this wine 2 Glasses (out of 3), denoting a rating of Very Good to Excellent. Complex aromas of new leather, red apple, dark cherry, smoke and spice box greet the nose. Juicy and impressive notes of dark fruit dominate the palate. Good complexity throughout. Some grip to the tannins on the spice-accented finish. Drinking beautifully now, this will delight until 2016+. Source: Vintages Wine Panel, Sept. 2013
