Reviews and Ratings

Lesley Quinn - Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 92/100 with the following review:

With a blend of 50% Sangiovese and 50% Cabernet Sauvignon, this Chianti producer is bridging the gap between Old World traditions and New World cravings. The scent of dark cherries and raisins explode out of the glass and in the mouth take on a plum and blackberry flavour. The rich velvet tannins lead into a deliciously long finish. Canadian artist Marc Brochier painted the image on the label so you can still feel patriotic while enjoying some amazing Italian wine. I think this wine pairs best with a Roast Beef in a rosemary gravy with some sweet potatoes and root vegetables.

Unquenchable by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a feisty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
