Rocca Delle Macie Chianti Vernaiolo 2009
Note: I publish batches of reviews that I call Good Values Wine Picks. These are from the regular section of the liquor store rather than the Vintages section, and tend to be lower priced and the most widely available of all wines. The last four reviews I did were: March 5, February 26, September 11 and July 26.
Rocca Delle Macie Chianti Vernaiolo 2009 Wine Review
Juicy with ripe black plums, berries and dark spices. Some pepper on the nose. Full-bodied, tasty and good value for the price point. 4.3/5 Chianti Vernaiolo food pairings: roasts, grilled meats, game and full-flavoured dishes.

|The grapes are grown in the appellation of CHIANTI, predominately the Chianti Colline Senesi area, a historic wine district. This wine region lies between the ancient and beautiful cities of Florence and Siena. |
Produced in accordance with the best tradition of CHIANTI wines —DOCG regulations mandate the strict percentage of grapes, low yield levels, alcohol volume and aging requirements —together with temperature-controlled technology.
