What an exquisite Riesling! Lovely aromas of lemon and lime sunshine with just a hint of white flowers underneath. Fresh and crisp. Perfect for seafood.

Loved this wine! This Riesling is a blend of grapes from 3 very distinct regions with 80-90kms of each other in Southwestern Australia. Bone dry and floral makes this Riesling stand out from the usual suspects. Fleshy and steely, white flowers,dew, and the familiar petrol or kerosene.( but just a hint!)
No ordinary Riesling and a good value at $17.95 Vintages Feb.1/14 Winemaker suggests age potential to 2020

Robert Oatley Signature Series Great Southern 2012 Riesling (Vintages 357426, Feb 1, 2014 release), I was impressed with the delicacy of the wine, the purity of the fruit, and the absence of what I've been accustomed to tasting with many value priced Australian wines (i.e. jam and syrup). This was a very different style of Riesling compared to fuller bodied Australian Rieslings. Comprised of grapes from three regions within the The Great Southern zone, this wine exhibited characteristics of a cooler region that were very refreshing. Crisp, light petrol notes, rose notes, minerality, creamy with a steely acidity that persists. At $18 (Vintages February 2014 release) this wine offers exceptional value. 90+ points. REGIONAL WINE GREAT SOUTHERN, WEST OZ, known for Exceptional Riesling. THIS IS A DRY RIESLING. Winemaker Larry Cherubino. Reflecting an outstanding vintage in WA's leading Riesling region, this is a softly textured, crisp, dry, lemon-lime fruited wine with a fine line of acidity. Retained fruit characters, minimal additions, varietally pure, age-worthy, enjoy to 2020.
