Robert Mondavi Chardonnay 2010
Note: I publish batches of reviews that I call Good Values Wine Picks. These are from the regular section of the liquor store rather than the Vintages section, and tend to be lower priced and the most widely available of all wines. The last four reviews I did were: March 5, February 26, September 11 and July 26.
Robert Mondavi Chardonnay 2010 Wine Review
A lovely, round Chardonnay with voluptuous aromas of Asian pear, peach and dried apricot. Creamy, but not too oaky. I wish they'd serve this at art exhibition openings rather than that other stuff. If they did, I might even buy a painting. 4.4/5 Chardonnay food pairings: crab cakes, roast chicken.

|The natural richness of our Chardonnay was enhanced by partial barrel and malolactic fermentation coupled with extended aging on the yeast lees, resulting in a luscious, complex wine. The nose reveals lemon cream, orange zest, and peach aromas with smoky oak nuances and enticing vanilla/brown sugar scents. The creamy, mouthfilling palate creates a lush impression and is balanced by a long, crisp finish.|
