Reviews and Ratings

Full-bodied, dry Chianti with aromas smoke, earth and dark fruit. Savoury, meaty and imminently satisfying. I'm thinking of this with pizza, lasagna or other pasta dishes with a spicy meat sauce. Yes please! MINE: A savoury, meaty red wine from Tuscany's Chianti region and bottled by the well-known Masi winery. The reserva of this wine is only produced in good vintages and is a blend of 95% Sangiovese and 5% Colorino grapes. OTHER: A simple Chianti that shows lots of richness and intensity with ripe fruit, light raisin and walnut shell character. Full body round and velvety tannins and a flavorful finish. Drink now. Score - 91 (James Suckling, jamessuckling.com, Aug. 21, 2016). - Community Wine Reviews

Red, White & Drunk all over by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean writes about wine with a sensuous obsession... and often laugh-out-loud funny... Terrific.

Rex Pickett, Sideways

Ms. MacLean is the disarming Everywoman. She loves wine, loves drinking ... ultimately, it's a winning formula.

Unquenchable by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a fiesty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
