Reviews and Ratings

Alex & Priya - Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

Alex: It's great to see a mature Brunello hit the shelves. This one features a lovely leather, undergrowth and sweet cherry nose, rimmed with dried herbs and red licorice. Medium body and lacy, harmonious palate, with no hard edges and a pleasant herbal and sweet cherry finish. Although mature, don't drink it too fast or cast it aside till you've let it see day 2, and even the nose is the best here on day 3. Like most good wines that aren't too old, it improves. Well-priced and well done, drink with osso bucco. 91pts
