Reviews and Ratings

This intriguing wine is made using dried grapes via the appassimento method made famous in Veneto, and comprises 30% Pinot from Reif's estate vineyards in Niagara River, along with 70% Shiraz from the Wiens Farm in the Four Mile Creek sub-appellation. It opens with a sweetly spicy nose of cherry preserves, strawberry, fig, mincemeat, leather, black pepper and anise. Rich, medium-full bodied and nicely concentrated on the palate, with plenty of acidity to counterpoint the sweet fruit core. Great value. Enjoy over the next 2-3 years. Source: Vintages Wine PanelVP

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
