More Wine Reviews and Ratings

Jane Staples - Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

A beautiful garnet red blend of Cab and Merlot with aromas of cassis, followed by bright red currant flavours on a medium-bodied palate. Elegant and well-balanced mouthfeel. Long cassis finish.
Irina Omari rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

Wonderful blend of merlot and Cabernet. Merlot makes it an easy wine to drink ( dangerously easy) an Cabernet gives it a full body, so wine is best with some roasted/grilled dishes. The the wine has a nice oak balance and the sweet after taste of red fruit, cassis and a hint of strawberry jam.
Douglas McMillan rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

Stewed raspberry, dark cherry, horse leather, spices, and a hint of vanilla and black pepper. Nice acidic taste of raspberry with a little of the pepper showing through. A nice winr for medium cheeses.
Jennifer Macdonald rated this wine as 87/100 with the following review:

Deep currant/cassis aroma, also with black pepper and leather on the nose, and a slight herbaceous note. Medium body, cassis on the palate, full flavoured with a longer finish. Try this with an herb crusted rack of lamb.

Red, White & Drunk all over by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean writes about wine with a sensuous obsession... and often laugh-out-loud funny... Terrific.

Ms. MacLean is the disarming Everywoman. She loves wine, loves drinking ... ultimately, it's a winning formula.

Unquenchable by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a fiesty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
