Reviews and Ratings

Julia Kelada rated this wine as 92/100 with the following review:

For those of you familiar with the Ravenswood wines, this is yet another great expression from their house.

The aromas of this fruity yet dry wine are of red cherries, raspberries and fruit crumble. Floral nuances present as an undertone.

On the palate there are again the red cherries, strawberry and rhubarb pie, kumquat citrus notes and sweet tobacco leaves. Warm leather intermingles with tones of mocha. The tannins are smooth and then step aside to release spice notes of nutmeg, cloves and white pepper. There is a medium length finish.

This would be great accompanied with a great BBQ cook up! Spicy sausages and Angus burgers with a blue cheese dressing.

Bottoms up!
