A terrific wine for the money! Full-bodied, juicy and mouth-watering. Luscious layers of dark fruit and berries that finishes long, smoky and satisfying. This wine is a blend of cabernet sauvignon, merlot, syrah, petite sirah and zinfandel with a few other grapes in minute amounts. This is where field blend comes from and it's a traditional method of planting different grape varieties in a vineyard rather than just one. There are notes of blackberries and plums on the finish. Supple and polished. I can taste a grilled hamburger with this wine.

|Jeremy Sprott rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:|
Black cherry, red berry, white pepper, dark chocolate and pleasant herbaceous notes (mint and sweet basil) notes comes through on the nose and follow through on the palate.
A nice wine to enjoy with barbequed 'mixed grill' of meat.
|Such a wonderful nose. Engaging and easy-to-enjoy notes of hickory, black olive, black cherry, vanilla and dark chocolate. The palate is smooth, flavourful and succulent. There is a delicious sunniness to the red fruit. This is a real crowd-pleaser if ever there was one; it seems that everyone actually does (or will) love Raymond. Serve this at your next barbecue.
