Vintages Wine Panel: Conceivably, this Port is a good choice if you are looking to lay down something from your child’s birth year. In 2024, this one will just be hitting its stride. Right now, the wine exhibits aromas of plum, 70% cacao dark chocolate, anise, raisins and old leather. Sweet, very intense with good fruit surrounding forceful tannins. Medium full-bodied with a very long fruity/tannic finish. My note: Wonderful notes of blackberry jam, blackcurrant, anise and hickory smoke. A warm, satisfying finish.

Vintage Port food pairings: coffee cake, chocolate chip cookies, pears in red wine, cheddar cheese.

Red, White & Drunk all over by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean writes about wine with a sensuous obsession... and often laugh-out-loud funny... Terrific.

Ms. MacLean is the disarming Everywoman. She loves wine, loves drinking ... ultimately, it's a winning formula.

Unquenchable by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a fiesty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
