Reviews and Ratings

Neil Phillips rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

Intense nose of ripe peach, melon, wet straw, cold cream, acacia and a chalky mineral note.

On the palate, peach, bitter almond, Meyer lemon zest, herbaceous notes all in a creamy mouthfeel and nice medium+ chalky finish.

A delightfully complex wine for the price; I'd happily try ageing.

Tasted October 2016.
This vibrant Spanish white wine is made from 90% Alvarinho, 5% Loureiro and 5% Caino Blanco grapes. This winery was acquired by the Cistercian monks in 1163 and has been a family winery since 1864. Two stone pines are the symbols of this historical winery and thus are depicted on the label. - Community Wine Review.
