Medium-bodied and so aromatic! White floral notes with daisies, lilies, baking spice and lychee. Subtle though, not in your face. Just enough acidity for many dishes like Asian fare, mild to medium curries and spices.

Gewurztraminer food pairings: seared scallops over a bed of butter leaf lettuce & a cucumber, dill & pink grapefruit vinaigrette.

Reviews and Ratings

Alex & Priya - Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 86/100 with the following review:

Alex: A lighter style than many, with a nose of honey, rosewater and Bartlett pear juice. Fairly sweet on the palate with a glycerous mouthfeel and modest overall concentration.
84pts

Priya: Back to your curmudgeon-self huh Alex? I quite like this, has a nice bit of bubbly feel at first and is dry, crisp and light. What's wrong with that? Not your traditional Alsatian style but it's doing it's own thing and I am quite happy to finish off your glass for you! 88pts
