Note: I publish batches of reviews that I call Good Values Wine Picks. These are from the regular section of the liquor store rather than the Vintages section, and tend to be lower priced and the most widely available of all wines. The last four reviews I did were: March 5, February 26, September 11 and July 26.
Quails' Gate Estate Winery Gewurztraminer 2010 Wine Review
Classic, stunning Gewurztraminer, with aromas of lychee, rose petal and baking spices. Perfect for difficult dishes, such as Asian, spicy and curries. Keep one of these on hand always. 4.6/5 Gewurztraminer food pairings: spicy dishes, curries.

|Aromas of pear drops, luscious melon, lychee nut and cinnamon mingle with delicate rose petal notes. There is a natural fruit sweetness that fattens and adds weight to the juicy mid palate along with well balanced crisp acidity on the finish. This wine pairs nicely with Walla Walla onion tart or Thai and East Indian cuisine.|
