The Riesling grapes were handpicked in late September, early Octobers from 29 year old vines. Deep roots that extend into the subsoils of the Boucherie Mountain slopes bring complex mineral and slate notes to the fruit. This wine was pressed, racked clean and then underwent a long cool controlled ferment for over 4 weeks to add character and complexity. Classic aged Riesling characteristics will develop in the bottle over a 2 - 3 year period but for those not faint of heart, careful cellaring of 7 - 10 years can showcase a truly exceptional Riesling wine.

Unquenchable by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a fiesty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
