Natalie's Score: 91/100

Crisp with lime zest and lemon sunshine. Medium-bodied with mouth-watering acidity. Gloriously fresh and vibrant. Perfect aperitif and shellfish companion.

Riesling food pairings: crisp Dungeness crab salad with ginger-lime dressing; caramelized onion tart.

The Riesling grapes were handpicked in late September, early Octobers from 29 year old vines. Deep roots that extend into the subsoils of the Boucherie Mountain slopes bring complex mineral and slate notes to the fruit. This wine was pressed, racked clean and then underwent a long cool controlled ferment for over 4 weeks to add character and complexity. Classic aged Riesling characteristics will develop in the bottle over a 2 - 3 year period but for those not faint of heart, careful cellaring of 7 - 10 years can showcase a truly exceptional Riesling wine.
