Quails' Gate Estate Winery Chenin Blanc 2012
Note: I publish batches of reviews that I call Good Values Wine Picks. These are from the regular section of the liquor store rather than the Vintages section, and tend to be lower priced and the most widely available of all wines. The last four reviews I did were: March 5, February 26, September 11 and July 26.
Quails' Gate Estate Winery Chenin Blanc 2012 Wine Review
Crisp, clean and refreshing with lime and white grapefruit notes. Medium-bodied with lovely balance. Great aperitif or companion to seafood and salads. 4.4/5 Chenin Blanc food pairings: oysters, shellfish.

|The blend of grapes, 92% Chenin Blanc and 8% Sauvignon Blanc, are sourced from both Quails’ Gate Estate and Osoyoos vineyards. The grapes were whole bunch pressed followed by cold fermentation, 85% in stainless steel tanks and 15% in 2 year old French oak barrels. The barrel portion of the blend provides a lush quality on the palate alongside complex aromas. To truly appreciate the development and complexity of the character of this wine, cellar it for 5-7 years. Source: Winery|
