Gorgeous dried apricot and honeysuckle nose. Layers of flavour and pleasure. Packed with flavour but so light in alcohol and not a trace of oak.

Riesling Spätlese food pairings: spicy noodle dishes, roast chicken.

Reviews and Ratings

A superb example of the ageability of Riesling. This wine is developing beautifully and is revealing quite delightful aromas of concentrated peach and apricot, with pineapple, pear, lime and honey as well as a lifted floral note and the expected petrol so characteristic of maturing Rieslings. The palate is off-dry, lush and balanced with good minerality, apple, peach, pineapple and petrol notes with some dried spice. Source: Vintages Wine Panel

Red, White & Drunk all over by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean writes about wine with a sensuous obsession... and often laugh-out-loud funny... Terrific.

Ms. MacLean is the disarming Everywoman. She loves wine, loves drinking ... ultimately, it's a winning formula.

Unquenchable by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a fiesty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
