|According to legend, all it took for Principessa Gavia, daughter of the King of the Franks, to have a village and a wine named after her was for her to fall in love with a soldier and flee to northwest Italy to escape the wrath of her father. We could all learn a thing or two from those bygone simpler days. Made from the local Cortese grape, this refreshing wine is a crisp offering of layered citrus fruit and peach, with a graceful white-floral character. A perfect aperitif. Source: Vintages Wine Panel|
