Reviews and Ratings

Julia Kelada rated this wine as 92/100 with the following review:

I had a slightly high excitement level for this wine, I was hoping to be transported back to my magical visit I had to the Mediteraenian. Let's just say it was speaking to me and yet the price was almost too good to be true!
The colour was classic, a substantial ruby red, it didn't cling to the glass and I was a little anxious of its body.
On the nose, there were black fruits, elderberries and a slight buttery undertone.
On the palate there was fresh acidity, blackberries, black currants when first poured, as it started to breath the presence of figs became deliciously prominent followed by a note of truffle! The tannins have a delicious length. This wine would be great with Tapas or pizza.
This is a fantastic wine for the price, if you want to steer away from the more heavy, meaty wines, if your in the mood for something a little more refreshing yet you want a wine with and intriguing personality....then give Prado a try!

Bottoms up!

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
